Posobiec faces off with leftist lying about Charlie Kirk assassination

“Hey, fascist catch. Bella Ciao, the Antifa anthem. All of that evidence was out there, but you seem to have missed it.”

Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec clashed with Wajahat Ali and Brian Tyler-Cohen on Piers Morgan Uncensored Tuesday night over the assassination of Charlie Kirk, with the two debating the motive behind the killing. Tyler Robinson has been charged with his murder and evidence was just presented in court linking him directly to the crime.

Ali argued that evidence points to Robinson being politically motivated from the right, while Posobiec pushed back, accusing critics of ignoring evidence that suggested a left-wing motive. “Most likely, Tyler Robinson was radicalized,” Ali said. “Here is a white man with a gun, he had his own grievance, and he shot and killed Charlie Kirk.” Both Tyler-Cohen and Ali misrepresented Robinson, intentionally distorting and underplaying his apparent motivations for killing Kirk. Robinson was reported to have said of Kirk that he could not take more of his “hate.”

Ali referenced reports about Robinson admitting to killing Kirk, saying the incident showed a political movement turning against itself. “This is an entire political movement in real time that is eating itself,” Ali said. “Candace Owens came from MAGA. MAGA is now turning on MAGA.”

He added, “If there’s any self-reflection and any decency, which there isn’t, they would sit back and say, huh, maybe, just maybe, we shouldn’t have spread these insane conspiracy theories.”

Posobiec pointed out that Jimmy Kimmel, among others, had incorrectly claimed the suspect was connected to the right-wing while ignoring other evidence. Bullet casings found at the scene were engraved with far-left slogans such as “fascist catch” and “bella ciao.”

“People who falsely claimed that it was a groyper that it was a member of the right, Jimmy Kimmel spread that on nighttime news,” Posobiec said. “This was big news. There was a huge push about it. This was big news. There were headlines about it. We debated it on the show.”

He argued that critics were ignoring evidence he said pointed toward a radical left-wing motive.

“Notice that you seem to have skipped over the radical left, which we now know absolutely was responsible for this,” Posobiec said. “And we even knew that before we had the identification of Tyler Robinson, because we had the etchings on the bullets.”

“Hey, fascist catch. Bella Ciao, the Antifa anthem. All of that evidence was out there, but you seem to have missed it,” he added.

Ali accused Posobiec of proving his argument by focusing on claims he said were unsupported. “Yeah, so you’re literally doing what I accused you of doing,” Ali said. “So thank you for proving.” Posobiec responded that he was simply following available evidence. “The courage of following the evidence?” Posobiec said.

Ali then argued that the controversy showed divisions within the conservative movement. “This is the movement that you have created, and this is the movement now that is eating itself,” Ali said.

“The movement that you are part of killed Charlie,” Posobiec said. Posobiec said, “You seem more upset about me simply being here talking than people who agree with your politics, murdering people, one at a campus, one in her own kitchen.” “I’m perfectly fine condemning violent extremism on all sides,” Ali said. Cohen-Tyler would also push in the conversation that Kirk was a fascist and deserved the label by “acting” like a fascist.
