A prominent New York City attorney was reportedly placed on leave after a viral TikTok video showed him kissing his 29-year-old colleague on a Central Park bench, prompting an internal investigation and widespread online attention.
Nathaniel Cullerton, 45, a partner at the prestigious Manhattan law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, was sidelined after the video spread across social media, according to the Financial Times. The footage shows Cullerton embracing and kissing 29-year-old associate Kelsey Borenzweig before the pair are interrupted by TikTok creator Jay Guapõ, who tells them, “Get a room. There’s kids around.”

According to reports, Cullerton had been expected to leave Wachtell to join rival law firm Gibson Dunn. That move has reportedly been put on hold as the firm investigates the incident. It remains unclear whether Borenzweig has also been placed on leave or is facing any disciplinary action. Both attorneys’ biographies remained active on Wachtell’s website as of Tuesday, the New York Post reports.
The two had previously worked together on the legal team representing OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in litigation brought by Tesla CEO Elon Musk earlier this year. Cullerton is reportedly married to fellow attorney Moira Penza, while Borenzweig was recently reported to have ended a relationship with another lawyer. Neither attorney nor either law firm has publicly commented on the situation, and the circumstances surrounding their relationship remain unconfirmed.
