Kamala Harris Hit With Brutal Backlash Over Her Take On The Latest ICE Death Controversy | JP

Leftists have attempted to spark a new wave of hatred toward immigration officers in the wake of a Colombian national’s recent death during an incident involving ICE agents.

But like in many of the similar preceding cases, Americans’ sympathy quickly dried up after the facts began to surface.

And failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris learned that lesson after posting her thoughts on the matter.

As the New York Post reported, critics were quick to respond:

“I will start giving a f–k” about the illegals killed by ICE when Democrats start giving a f–k about Americans killed by illegals,” one user seethed.

“Someone needs to be investigated – namely the two individuals who opened our borders up for 4 YEARS allowing the worst of the worst in here to rob, r*ape and k*ll us. Where is the accountability for THAT? You and ol’ Joey should be in prison,” another charged.

“As border czar, you are responsible for all the deaths caused by illegals crossing the border during your time as VP,” another user wrote.

An average of 2.4 million migrants entered the US during each year Biden was in the White House, which was the largest surge in the nation’s history — with many of them crossing illegally.

ICE officers in Biddeford, Maine, had been surveilling the last known address of an illegal migrant with a deportation order on Monday morning when the chaos unfolded, according to DHS.

Here’s more on the shooting, per Newsweek:

Earlier Tuesday, it was revealed Guerrero had appeared to criticize the killing of Renee Good by an ICE officer in a January Facebook post, writing: “Sadly here you get paid for killing a person.” He made the comment on a post related to the ICE agent who allegedly shot Good in Minneapolis on January 7.

Meanwhile, the officer involved in the shooting of Guerrero was a new recruit who was hired by ICE this year from the Department of Veterans Affairs Police, The Atlantic reports.

Although the officer has not been identified, the newspaper reports that he has worked in federal law enforcement since 2017.

Later in the same article:

In a statement late Monday, an ICE spokesperson told Newsweek: “ICE law enforcement attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. The vehicle attempted to flee the scene and fearing for public safety an officer discharged his weapon.”

“The driver of the vehicle was struck, and emergency services were immediately contacted. He passed away from his injuries,” the spokesperson added.
