Iran Issues Chilling New Threat To American Troops

A senior Iranian commander has issued a blunt new threat against American troops and warships, warning that Tehran would strike U.S. military assets across the region if Washington launches a ground invasion of Iran.

Ali Fadavi, head of the advisory group to the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, delivered the warning during an appearance on Iranian state television.

“If the Americans launch a ground attack, then we will target every location related to the Americans, American bases and every vessel related to the Americans,” he said.

Fadavi claimed Iran would be prepared to retaliate directly against U.S. military installations and naval forces if the conflict escalates further.

He argued that Washington responds only to military pressure, saying Americans “understand missiles hitting their warships” and “missiles hitting their bases.”

The comments come as tensions between Washington and Tehran remain dangerously high and the United States continues increasing its military presence in the Middle East.

Fadavi also claimed that Iran is manufacturing military equipment faster than it is being consumed and that Tehran’s capabilities have grown considerably compared with earlier phases of the conflict.

His remarks also focused on the Strait of Hormuz, the critical shipping route that has become a major flashpoint in the confrontation.

Fadavi said Iran and Oman should establish and enforce rules governing traffic through the waterway, while claiming such regulations have already been prepared and are being implemented.

He also warned that additional American vessels sent into the region could become targets.

“The Americans can only create tensions through the air, and certainly an increase in tensions will be to the detriment of the Americans,” he said.

Fadavi further insisted that Tehran had “in no way attacked a Muslim country,” arguing that Iranian forces instead targeted U.S. military bases located inside those countries.

The distinction underscores Iran’s broader strategy of threatening American assets throughout the region while attempting to avoid portraying its attacks as direct strikes against neighboring governments.

The warning comes as the Pentagon moves additional military forces toward the Middle East, including thousands of troops, carrier forces and amphibious units.

Washington has also strengthened air and missile defenses at American bases as Iranian officials repeatedly warn that U.S. facilities could be targeted in retaliation for attacks on Iranian territory.

The Strait of Hormuz has become increasingly dangerous as the confrontation drags on, with commercial ships facing attacks, attempted strikes and harassment while moving through one of the world’s most important energy corridors.
