God Is Trans? Priest Rewrites Jesus

At New York’s Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, Rev. Flourish Klink recast the Incarnation and Resurrection as a transgender transition during a Trans Day of Visibility homily.
An Episcopal priest used the pulpit of New York’s Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine to declare that God is trans, that Mary “assigned” Jesus male at birth, and that the Resurrection revealed Christ’s “true self” beyond male or female.
Rev. Flourish Klink delivered the sermon at the cathedral’s March 21 “Celebration of Trans Joy and Resilience.” The homily did not merely invoke modern gender language. It rewrote the Incarnation and the Resurrection around it.

Klink’s published sermon says Mary looked at the newborn Christ and declared, “Oh, look! A baby boy!” Klink then argued that Mary had assigned the incarnate God a gender and that later events showed the assignment “wasn’t quite right.”
The Dissenter report put the claim plainly: Klink said Jesus returned from the tomb as his “true, transgender self.”
Catholic doctrine says something altogether different. The Catechism confesses that the eternal Son truly became Mary’s son according to the flesh, that Mary is the Mother of God, and that Christ was truly born and truly risen.
The cathedral gave Klink a sanctuary and a microphone. Klink used both to turn the central mysteries of the Christian faith into transgender ideology.
