Celebrities Who Died in 2024: Star Deaths This Year
2024 is in full swing and we’ve already lost some incredibly talented celebrities this year.
In mid January, it was revealed that Shawn Barber, a former Olympian, had died at the age of 29 due after suffering from medical issues.
Later that month, the theater community lost two greats: legendary Broadway actress Chita Rivera and three-time Tony Award winner Hinton Battle.
February began with another shocking death: Rocky star Carl Weathers, who passed away “peacefully in his sleep” on February 1, according to his family. Just a few days later, the death of country music icon Toby Keith was announced.
On February 28, Curb Your Enthusiasm star Richard Lewis died of a heart attack at the age of 76.
On March 5, police in Flagstaff, Arizona, confirmed to Life & Style that Sister Wives star Robert Garrison Brown, son of Janelle and Kody Brown, had died at age 25 after an apparent suicide.
