Supreme Court Clears the Way for Trump Election Integrity Order in Advance of Midterms – Journal Posts
The Supreme Court on Monday granted President Trump’s request and temporarily blocked a lower-court injunction, allowing the administration to continue implementing parts of his executive order on election integrity ahead of the November midterms.
In an unsigned opinion, the justices found that the states challenging the order had not shown a concrete enough injury at this stage. As a result, work on the order, including a directed Postal Service rulemaking that could affect mail ballot handling, can proceed while the case continues.
