Considering the outsized influence she reportedly wields behind the scenes, few Americans know very much about White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles or all of the things she is involved in on a day-to-day basis within the Trump administration.

But despite her reputation for keeping her comments off the record, she announced this week that the public will be seeing a little bit more of her perspective going forward.

As Fox News reported, Wiles launched a new account on X and explained her intentions:

“I’m joining X to share occasional updates about the work we do at the White House. We are relentlessly focusing on advancing President Trump’s agenda and delivering on promises to the American people,” her first post read. “I welcome different viewpoints. Follow along for insights and information.”

Her newly formed account has amassed nearly 300,000 followers since its launch this week. Wiles is seen very often with the president, sitting in on high-level meetings and standing by his side at events, but Trump’s chief of staff rarely speaks directly to the public.

Her account only follows six users, all media outlets: Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, ABC News, The New York Times, and CBS News.

Other White House-linked accounts promoted the new profile:

And an array of comments under that post reflected a positive assessment of Wiles’ influence on Trump’s second term:

In response to her original post, however, users weren’t shy in telling her exactly what their priorities are:

The post above reflected several others that pressed Wiles to push for the implementation of voter ID requirements. Here’s the comment in full:

Chief of Staff Susie Wiles,

The single most important thing Americans care about right now — besides continued deportations — is the SAVE America Act.

With a White House, Republican House, & Republican Senate, many voters are getting demoralized due to the lack of action — especially on the part of our Senate — to pass legislation.

Our viewpoint is that if Leader Thune will not pass the SAVE America Act, then we must replace some of his allies in the Senate.

President Trump has already endorsed AGAINST Senator Cassidy in Louisiana & we look forward to replacing him this November.

We ask you to please relay to President Trump that the majority of Texans do NOT want Senator Cornyn & will be voting FOR Ken Paxton on May 26th.

Thank you for your service & thank you for listening to our voices.

As Politico reported, Wiles has been a central figure in the White House’s response to Saturday’s shooting:

Chief of staff Susie Wiles will convene a meeting with the White House operations team, U.S. Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security leadership early this week to discuss “protocol and practices” for major events involving President Donald Trump, according to a senior White House official.

The official, granted anonymity to describe the meeting, pointed to the slew of upcoming events planned for America 250.

Wiles, who announced a breast cancer diagnosis earlier this year, previously granted a glimpse inside her role at the White House in an interview with Vanity Fair in late 2025:
