Babies bring goodness into our world.
I was reminded of this indisputable fact during a recent visit to church.
In the pew before me sat a lively infant boy, brimming with personality.
He was engrossed in a book that included detachable pieces to play with. He took a flower from the book and presented it to me over and over again, a wide grin on his cherubic face.
He embodied joy in its purest form.

Abortion is a grievous act which robs a family of joy. It is a deed of desperation, a sign that society has failed women.
I cannot help but think of the more than a million babies lost each year to abortion. It is a stain upon our civilization, a mark of cruelty and contempt for innocent human life.
No matter the circumstances of conception, a baby is the greatest gift a human being can experience. As advocates for life, let us spread the good news of the joy that can come from choosing life!
