“They are trying to make a point and punish me,” said the homeowner who lost his legal battle with the city of Cape Coral over the political signs in his yard.
He will have to pay 2000 dollars in fines.
This was reported by Gulf Coast News (Ft. Myers – Naples, FL).
The city said it’s not what the signs say, but where they are positioned.
The news journalist put forth details about the ins and outs of approved signage and placements in a front yard in the city.
The homeowner told Gulf Coast News that he plans further legal action.
