Texas child porn investigation nabs 10 suspected illegal immigrants

Texas law enforcement executing a search warrant for alleged depraved downloads were forced to call in Homeland Security when they discovered more than child pornography at a Houston-area home.

While President Joe Biden continued to play politics over the border crisis, endeavoring to shift blame for the outcome of leftist policies on Republicans, the erosion of national sovereignty placed countless Americans at risk from various unchecked criminal elements.

Thursday in Baytown, Texas, that reality played out as deputies from the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a residence to execute a warrant over child pornography and found 10 individuals suspected of being illegal aliens.

In a social media post regarding the ongoing investigation, the CCSO shared images of the detained individuals with their faces obscured and detailed how, “Information received indicated that images/videos of child pornography had been downloaded at the residence.”

Utilizing information provided by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, the execution of a warrant was met with refused compliance. “Occupants of the home refused to answer the door for Deputies so entry had to be forced into the residence. Once inside, 10 individuals were located that are believed to be here in the U.S. illegally.”

According to the CCSO, “Homeland Security responded to the scene to assist with the investigation,” and of the individuals conveyed to the Chambers County Jail and processed by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) some were said to be Asian while others were reportedly Guatemalan.

“This is an ongoing investigation looking into possible human trafficking and/or human smuggling as well as other possible crimes,” indicated the release as a number of electronic devices were said to have been seized by forensic investigators.

Like other criminal behaviors such as gang violence and drug trafficking, ongoing efforts to combat human-trafficking and sexual exploitation were in an uphill battle because of the porous border facilitated by the administration’s policies.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) teams from around the country have routinely apprehended suspects who’ve taken advantage of lax border enforcement only to commit heinous crimes in the United States.

On Friday, ERO Boston revealed that a previously booted Brazilian national had been arrested on March 28 after the Middlesex County Superior Court had opted against heeding a request from the agency to maintain custody of the 53-year-old illegal alien who had been indicted on five counts of aggravated rape of a child, including one count of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.

“This Brazilian national has been charged with some horrific and disturbing crimes,” said ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons. “This is certainly not the type of person that we want interacting freely with children of our neighborhoods. ERO Boston will continue to work tirelessly to arrest and remove noncitizen child sex predators from our New England communities.”

The same day, ERO Boston had also arrested a 33-year-old Guatemalan national Lyon said had been “charged with sex crimes. His very presence in our community represents a dire threat to our residents.”

Likewise, in the nation’s capital, ERO Washington, D.C. had removed a Mexican national wanted on kidnapping charges in his home country whose repeated run-ins with the law also included drug charges.

With open border policies leaving their work cut out for them, ERO detailed that in fiscal year 2023, they arrested “73,822 noncitizens with criminal histories; this group had 290,178 associated charges and convictions with an average of four per individual. These included 33,209 assaults; 4,390 sex and sexual assaults; 7,520 weapons offenses; 1,713 charges or convictions for homicide; and 1,655 kidnapping offenses.”
