She Left Planned Parenthood and Saved Her Baby, Then She Went Viral
“If you are wondering if your voice matters, it does. I am standing here today because people just like you thought that life was worth fighting for.”
Sierra, a mother of four children, was going through a tough divorce. During the divorce, she found herself unexpectedly pregnant with her fifth child. Sierra was overwhelmed and in a moment of great fear and stress, decided to travel to Planned Parenthood to undergo a chemical abortion procedure.
After the procedure was over, she left Planned Parenthood and was instantly overwhelmed with deep regret.
She kept asking herself, “What had I just done?” She asked God for some sort of sign to help her save her baby. And as she left Planned Parenthood, she got that sign—a physical sign in the grass nearby that said, “If you took the first pill, it’s not too late.”

Sierra researched how to reverse her chemical abortion and contacted a hotline for help. After connecting with medical professionals and receiving treatment to reverse the damage of the abortion pill, her daughter survived and she gave birth to her months later.
To Sierra, that simple sign in the grass was an answer to her prayers—and helped save her daughter’s life. Sierra knew her story couldn’t remain quiet. She needed to share it with other mothers just like her. She needed to let them know that the abortion pill was not the end of the story.
Last year, Sierra took the stage at the 2025 Ohio March for Life, and her 3-minute testimony went viral on TikTok, reaching hundreds of thousands of people. Sierra never thought she’d find herself onstage at the March for Life sharing her testimony. But one year later, we know that just by sharing her story on our stage, Sierra saved lives.
After her testimony went viral, Sierra was contacted throughout the year by 20 women who heard her story, and chose to fight for their babies’ lives as a result.
At this year’s 2026 Ohio March for Life, we were thrilled to once again come alongside the amazing Center for Christian Virtue when Sierra took to the stage again, where she recounted her story and celebrated the life of her nearly 3-year-old daughter whose life was saved by the abortion pill reversal process.
Since sharing her testimony at the 2026 Ohio March for Life, Sierra reflected: “I thought I was just sharing my story, but I didn’t realize that God was going to use my story to be someone else’s sign.”
She spoke to the pro-lifers gathered at the rally, reminding them that their support and encouragement to moms like her makes a difference and can help save a life – just like it saved the life of her child.
This is why we continue to March for Life. Because your witness, your story, your signs have the power to save the life of a vulnerable child, and support women in need in the process.
