Say, what? Pelosi makes revealing statement when confronted on Trump becoming president again
Excuse me?
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared to let Trump Derangement Syndrome get the better of her when asked about the upcoming presidential election.
In a short clip from CNN, the California congresswoman was confronted with some of former President Trump’s accomplishments and goals.
“In terms of repealing Obamacare. In terms of Roe v Wade being struck down,” the CNN host stated while contemplating Trump’s campaign strengths. But, but he didn’t stop there.
“In terms of more tax cuts, along the lines of what we saw in 2017. That also polls much better for Democrats than it does for him. And yet, this is a neck-n-neck race.”
Much to Pelosi’s seeming discomfort, he then dropped a zinger that appeared to put her over the edge.

“No one feels very comfortable in the Democratic side of things, that Donald Trump isn’t going to be the next president,” he said.
The mere thought of Trump once again inhabiting the Oval Office proved too much for Pelosi and she let slip a curious response.
“Well, I don’t think that nobody feels…” she began before stuttering, giggling, and re-grouping. “I think many of us know, that it’s impossible for him to be the president again.”
“Why do you say that?” the host challenged.
Pelosi then unleashed some Kamala Harris-worthy word salad to explain why it would be “impossible” for Trump ever to be president again. But, really it seemed more like she was trying to run far away from her statement.
“Well, what he’s talking about now, is more tax cuts for corporate America and taking them down so low to the detriment of uh, uh our budget and meeting the needs of people.”
Like a seasoned Democrat politician, Pelosi then evoked a beloved Republican to try and save face.
“I have said over and over again, President Lincoln said public sentiment is everything, with it you can accomplish almost anything,” she said before rambling off course again, by taking a defensive stand for Biden without even mentioning his name.
Needless to say, the establishment Democrat left the CNN host looking a little confused by the end of the segment. But, Pelosi’s strange Trump statement was not lost on X users:
