Deliberate Parenthood Says Unborn Child “Looks Similar to Dryer Lint”
Planned Parenthood is drawing sharp criticism from pro-life advocates after comparing an unborn baby in early pregnancy to dryer lint.
The crass comparison came in a blog post aimed at women who have taken abortion pills.
In an April 10 post answering the question “How can I tell if my abortion worked?,” the abortion business sought to reassure customers about what to expect after using the dangerous abortion pill.
The post states: “This is because early in pregnancy, the pregnancy tissue looks similar to dryer lint, which, mixed in with blood, is often not very noticeable.”

The language appears in a section telling women they may not see significant tissue or large clumps, but rather something that resembles a heavy period.
The pro-life group Live Action condemned the comparison.
“In addition, likening human beings to ‘dryer lint’ is dehumanizing, insulting, and discriminatory,” the pro-life organization stated. “Millions of women who have suffered the grief of miscarriage and abortion and witnessed the humanity of their children are being gaslit by Planned Parenthood with this statement.”
Critics say Planned Parenthood’s disgusting and inaccurate language downplays the humanity of the unborn child and fails to fully inform women about the reality of the abortion process in the earliest weeks of pregnancy.
