To understand our adversary China, one must understand that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) IS China, and that the CCP operates with the goal of maintaining or gaining power. The CCP’s thirst for control includes becoming the world-superpower, and they are on track to do so through a “Hundred-Year Marathon,” to borrow the title from the book by Michael Pillsbury.
The CCP is smart, patient, and ruthless. The CCP’s own citizens are not spared from its ruthless nature. The CCP has a generations-long history of tyranny and massacre—primarily against its own people. Since the founding of the CCP in China, the party has ruthlessly killed 80 million of its own citizens (1), still enables the involuntary human organ harvesting industry, and strictly controls its populations through “social credit score” and censorship.
To be clear, an expanding CCP means expanding tyranny. One of the main means the CCP is utilizing to become the world superpower is through its Belt & Road Initiative (BRI). The CCP characterizes the BRI as simply a logistics chain to expand its commerce, serve the world, and feed its people, but do not be fooled. To be clear the BRI is a HANGMAN’S NOOSE, and this noose already encircles Latin America, which will be a staging point for future attacks against the United States.
This author is aware of active measures the CCP is using right now to expand the BRI in Latin America. If the United States does not take action well beyond securing the Panama Canal, like pushing back on the CCP and disrupting the BRI hangman’s noose in the Western Hemisphere, it will be very difficult for America in the future.
The primary currency of Marxism in its many forms is lies, and the power of a lie is how close the lie resembles the truth. The BRI is in fact used today to expand China’s commerce, serve the world, and feed its people, but there is a nefarious purpose of the BRI, which is to expand CCP power, encircle its adversaries with logistics networks, choke off lynchpin resources to its adversaries, stage its resources with such depth that China will have won the war with the United States before the war even begins.
Thus, the war between the United States and China is now a battle for real estate, logistics, and resources. Unfortunately, the CCP is far ahead of the United States in Latin America. The CCP is in control of over 40 key ports in Latin America (2) and is the largest owner of ports in the world (3).
The success of the BRI noose can be measured in its control and its strategies. We are talking about control of seaports, power grids, and communications; and the strategies are debt entrapment, resource monopolization, and colonialization.
This short series breaks down the BRI threat and makes recommendations for the US Government to push back on the CCP and disrupt the BRI hangman’s noose, and do so in such a way that will survive many administration changes while building prosperity and security in the Western Hemisphere.
