Key reason to buy a Pixel 11 is hidden in the camera flash

The teaser on the store landing page also shows the phone in a shiny gold colour again. It seems it will be this year’s hero colour, following on from Moonstone from the Pixel 10 Pro models. However, the back doesn’t match up with any of the leaked colours – unless the teaser image just isn’t revealing that part just yet.
It looks closest to Dune (below), whose images from Amazon show a gold frame but an orangey/pink coral type of shade for the rear panel. The rest of the landing page, decked out in a sunset sandy tone, certainly seems to support this, though gold and black would be quite the look.

Our first look at Pixel Glow
More importantly, the teaser confirms that the Pixel 11 range will introduce an all-new feature to the phones.
It’s called Pixel Glow (though this isn’t official yet), and after weeks of speculation, we can now see that it’s housed within the camera flash. There was a chance it would do something like go around the camera bar or possibly be embedded into the ‘G’ logo, but it’s simpler than those options.
Info about the feature was spotted ahead of time, revealing it would use “subtle light and color on the back of your device to inform you of important activity when it’s face down”.
To speculate, you may be able to set different colours to your favourite contacts, so you know who is calling.
