Chinese, Hong Kong Stocks See Large Declines

Chinese and Hong Kong stocks hit a new low on Monday with two benchmark indexes both plunging to historic lows.

The CSI index, which looks at mainland Chinese shares, closed at an almost five-year low. While Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index dropped over 2 percent and approached its lowest point since 2009.
