Cara Delevingne Addresses Rumors She Dated Amber Heard During Johnny Depp Marriage

Cara Delevingne is speaking out on her rumored affair with Amber Heard. 

Though the supermodel was previously accused by Johnny Depp of having an affair with his then-wife, she explained that the Pirates of the Caribbean star was misinterpreting their strong bond.

 “I think he was pretty driven crazy by jealousy,” Delevingne told Louis Theroux during a June 29 episode of the Louis Theroux Podcast, stating that “nothing was happening at that point.”

She added that Depp’s belief that she and Heard were having an affair began because the two women filmed the movie London Fields—in which Depp had a brief cameo—in 2013.

Depp and Heard began dating in 2011 and tied the knot in 2014. After a 15-month marriage, the pair split in 2015 before finalizing their divorce the following year.

After their breakup, Delevingne confirmed that she and Heard got together.

“Later, after they divorced, it had [happened], I suppose,” Delevingne said, elaborating that “[Heard and I] were close for a long time, and then when they were going through the divorce, we were entangled.”
