Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, leader of the Liberal Party, has stated he supports sex change treatments for children ahead of the country’s federal election this month.

Carney, a globalist, defended transitions for kids, calling them a “fundamental right.”

“Canada is a mosaic; people can be who they are, they can love who they love,” Carney said this week on the campaign trail.

“Access to health care in Canada is not a business, it is a fundamental right, and we will defend it for all Canadians, without exception,” he added.

Alberta’s Bill 26 bans medical professionals from performing sex reassignment surgeries on children and requires parental approval for hormone treatments for anyone under 16.

Both puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones can result in sterility and prevent the individual from developing normal sexual function.

In young boys, the growth of their genitals stops, meaning they never develop an adult-sized penis.

Meanwhile, girls taking testosterone develop stronger jawlines and deep voices, and suffer from vaginal and uterine atrophy.

Carney became leader of the Liberal Party following Justin Trudeau’s resignation earlier this year.

He initially promised to retaliate against President Donald Trump‘s tariffs, but earlier this month, he began seeking negotiations.

Carney was recently involved in a foreign election interference scandal, as a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) account on the WeChat platform was reported to have supported his election campaign.
