Boyfriend Forces His Pregnant Girlfriend to Take Abortion Drug
A 28-year-old IT firm employee has accused her 29-year-old male colleague and boyfriend of forcibly administering abortion pills that ended the life of her unborn child against her will.
That’s according to a police complaint filed this month.
The woman from India, who works as an advisory professional at a technology firm in New Town, said the man, a trainer at the same company, began pursuing her in late 2025.
Relying on repeated promises of marriage and claims that his family had consented, she moved into his residence in February 2026.
In her complaint, she alleged those promises were false.

She described repeated physical abuse while living with him and said he extorted 78,000 rupees from her.
In July 2026 she learned she was pregnant. According to the police report, the accused then forcibly gave her abortion pills to kill the baby without her consent, ending the life of the unborn child.
She reported the harassment to her company’s Internal Complaints Committee under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act, but alleged the man continued to harass her afterward.
Technocity Police Station registered a case under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita on August 3, 2026. Officers are gathering statements from both parties as the investigation continues.
The complaint outlines prolonged sexual exploitation, physical assault, cheating on false marriage promises, and the forced chemical abortion of an unborn baby. Police are reviewing the allegations involving the two colleagues at the New Town firm.
