Affiliate World Europe returns to Budapest on 9–10 July 2026 at the MTK Sportpark, and this year I’m not just covering it; I’m on stage. Get your Affiliate World Europe 2026 ticket here. Expect 7,000+ attendees from 110+ countries, 20+ hours of expert content, 300+ exhibitors, and, new for 2026,  a dedicated AI × Marketing track that reflects where this industry is actually heading.

What is Affiliate World Europe 2026?
Affiliate World Europe, sometimes called Affiliate World Budapest, or simply AWE, is the European flagship of the Affiliate World Conferences series. It’s the yearly summer meeting point for performance marketers, e-commerce operators, affiliates, advertisers, networks, traffic sources, and the tech providers that connect them.
The format is what it’s always been: two intense days of stage content, a large marketplace floor, structured mixers by vertical, and a closing party that everyone in the industry treats as a soft deadline for the year’s dealmaking.
The dates for AW Europe 2026 are 9–10 July, when MTK Sportpark (Kerepesi út 17, 1087 Budapest) will turn into a two-day meeting space for eight-figure e-commerce brands, media buyers, iGaming operators, AI-first marketing teams, and everyone who has to figure out how to keep converting traffic in a search landscape that looks nothing like it did 18 months ago.
If you’ve attended before, the venue and format will feel familiar. What’s different in 2026 is the content mix, and I’ll get to why that matters below.

Why You Should Attend AW Europe Budapest 2026
I’ve been attending Affiliate World events for years, and I’ve written about most of them here on MonetizeBetter, including AW Dubai, AW Asia, and more. My honest take hasn’t changed: the reason to fly to Budapest isn’t the stage content; it’s the room.
Between the marketplace, the mixers, the after-hours events, and the queue for coffee, you get compressed access to more decision-makers in two days than three months of Zoom calls will get you. That’s the trade: you pay for a ticket, a flight, and a hotel, and you get proximity to people who can move your business.
What’s different this year is that the industry is genuinely in transition. Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode have reshaped organic traffic. AI-generated answers are eating clicks that used to hit affiliate sites. Meta and TikTok creative cycles have collapsed from weeks to days. Everyone I talk to is quietly recalibrating — and Budapest is where a lot of those recalibrations will get spoken out loud, on record.
Also worth noting: Affiliate World Conferences are listed among the top events for Learning & Networking in Europe on our Top Affiliate Marketing Conferences list.

My Workshop: The Great SEO Reset
Here’s the part I’m most excited about and the reason this year’s coverage is a little different from previous ones.
On 9 July 2026, I’m delivering a workshop at AW Europe titled “The Great SEO Reset: How to Thrive in the AI Visibility Era.”
The workshop draws directly from my longitudinal research on what I’ve been calling the Great Blogging Collapse, a study tracking 100 affiliate and content blogs from 2022 through 2026, documenting exactly how the traffic base that funded a generation of affiliate businesses has been pulled apart by Google’s AI-driven search changes and by the rise of LLM-based answer engines.
What I’ll cover:

Why “SEO” as we knew it in 2020 is functionally dead and what actually replaces it
The AI Visibility framework: how to measure whether your brand and offers get cited inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews
Concrete data from the 100-blog study: who survived, who collapsed, and the specific patterns that predicted each outcome
The affiliate playbook for a post-organic world: which traffic sources actually compound, and which are traps
How to audit your own site’s AI citation footprint in under 30 minutes

If you attend AWE and you’re serious about the AI visibility question — or you’ve watched your organic traffic decline over the last 12 months and you’re trying to understand what to do about it — find me. I’ll post the exact stage, time, and room on my LinkedIn once the schedule locks. Come with questions.
Big thanks to KJ Rocker and Maheen Rasool for coordinating this, and I’m looking forward to seeing you both in Budapest.

Speakers
Affiliate World Europe consistently books a mix of proven operators over motivational speakers. The stated ratio is roughly 35+ live speeches, panels, and Q&As across the two days, delivered by people who actually run the P&Ls they talk about — not people paid to talk about running them.
The full speaker list for AWE 2026 is still being finalized as of writing, and the organizers typically drop names in waves in the weeks leading up to the event. As soon as the confirmed lineup is public, I’ll update this section.
What you can reliably expect based on previous editions: a lead-off keynote or two from well-known figures (past AW events have hosted Neil Patel, Ryan Deiss, and similar names), several sessions from top-earning super-affiliates who rarely speak publicly, deep-dive workshops from ad platform specialists, and panels with network executives.
Check the official schedule page as we get closer to July for the confirmed lineup.

Conference Agenda
Content Tracks
AWE 2026 organizes its content into vertical-specific tracks, so you can move through the day by topic rather than jumping between unrelated sessions. Based on the organizers’ published structure, expect tracks covering:

Meta Ads — Facebook and Instagram media buying, creative cycles, and 2026 account structure realities
Google Ads — post-AI Overviews strategy, PMax evolution, and search intent in an AI-answer world
TikTok Ads & TikTok Shop — the fastest-moving track of the conference, and probably the most useful if you sell physical products
Native Ads — the workhorse traffic source most affiliates underestimate
SEO — where my workshop lives; this is the track under the most pressure to prove it’s still relevant
Affiliate Marketing — the core track: offers, verticals, tracking, compliance
AI × Marketing — new focus for 2026, covering AI creative production, LLM-based tooling, and AI visibility
iGaming — still one of the largest verticals at any European affiliate event

Registration Day — 8 July 2026
Registration typically opens the day before the conference kicks off. If you can pick up your badge on the 8th, do it — the queue on Day 1 is always worse than people expect, and you don’t want to burn your first hour of the event standing in line.
First time at Affiliate World Europe?
The organizers run a dedicated First-Timers’ Affiliate Meetup exclusively for first-time attendees. If it’s your first AWE, go. It gets you into a smaller room with other people who don’t know anyone yet, which is genuinely more useful for building a base of contacts than trying to break into established conversations on the marketplace floor.
Day 1 — Thursday, 9 July 2026
Day 1 traditionally leans into the paid-media tracks — Meta, Google, and Native Ads sessions dominate the schedule, with the marketplace floor open throughout. Networking mixers run alongside the main stages, organized by vertical, and there’s typically a happy hour late afternoon.
The party track begins on the evening of Day 1. The centerpiece is the Affiliate World Official Party — The Castle Edition, held at Vajdahunyad Castle from 8 PM to 1 AM. Yes, an actual castle in Budapest’s City Park. Entry is included with your AW badge on a first-come, first-served basis; VIP tables cost €4,999–€6,999 for groups. If you plan to close deals with drinks in hand, this is the room.
Day 2 — Friday, 10 July 2026
Day 2 typically shifts the weight toward SEO, TikTok, Affiliate Marketing, and, new this year, the AI × Marketing track. This is the day my workshop runs. The marketplace stays open, and the schedule usually wraps in the mid-afternoon with the closing keynote and one final networking session.
Networking Events
In addition to the main tracks, you’ll have access to 5+ curated networking mixers across the two days, plus the First-Timers’ Meetup, the Official Party, and the various unofficial side events that spring up around any conference of this size. Watch LinkedIn and the AW app in the week before — half the good side events aren’t announced on the main site.

Exhibitors & Partners
The AWE Budapest marketplace is one of the largest in performance marketing — 300+ exhibitors across advertisers, affiliate networks, traffic sources, tracking platforms, payment solutions, and tooling.
If you’ve walked the floor at previous AW events, you know the drill: it’s easy to spend half your conference just navigating booth-to-booth conversations, and it’s worth blocking real time on your calendar to do it properly rather than in five-minute snippets between sessions.
I’ll be posting a shortlist of exhibitors worth prioritizing (from an SEO, AI visibility, and digital asset perspective) closer to the event on my personal site and on LinkedIn.
The complete list of Affiliate World Europe 2026 exhibitors is published on the official site and updated as new booths sell.

Networking Opportunities
Structured networking is the real product at AWE. Here’s how it breaks down:
Networking Mixers
Hour-long, vertical-focused mixers take place on both days: Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, AI × Marketing, and others. These are the highest-signal rooms of the conference because everyone in them self-selects by topic. If you’re an affiliate looking for a specific type of offer, or an advertiser looking for a specific type of publisher, these are where you meet each other in the fewest steps.
AW Networking App
The official AW app (iOS and Android) opens ahead of the event and lets you browse the attendee list, filter by role or company, and message people directly. Book meetings before you land in Budapest. The people worth meeting have full calendars by the time you arrive at the venue.
Parties & Side Events
Between the Official Party at Vajdahunyad Castle, the various company-hosted side events, and the informal group dinners that emerge from the app the night before, there’s essentially no evening downtime unless you build it in yourself.

Guide: How to Make the Most of AWE Budapest
After many years of attending performance marketing conferences on three continents, here’s the honest version of what actually works. Follow these, and you’ll get more out of the two days than 80% of the room:

Define one outcome, not five. Are you here to sign new advertisers? Recruit new affiliates? Find a tracking platform? Close a partnership? Pick one primary goal and let the schedule serve it. People who arrive with “I want to network and learn” leave with business cards and no deals.
Book meetings before you land. The AW app opens weeks in advance. The people worth meeting are booked solid by the time you arrive at MTK Sportpark. Do the reach-outs from your desk in June, not from your hotel bar on 8 July.
Prioritize mixers over stage sessions. Most stage content is recorded or gets summarized on LinkedIn within a week. Mixers, hallway conversations, and marketplace time are the parts you literally cannot get any other way. Trade sessions for meetings whenever the meeting is real.
Have a one-line answer to “what do you do?” If you can’t explain your business in a sentence, you’ll lose the room in every conversation. Practice it. Test it. Refine it before Budapest.
Follow up within 72 hours. The follow-up gap is where most conference ROI dies. LinkedIn connections, one-line emails, WhatsApp messages — do them by the following Monday or the conversations you had don’t compound into anything.
Budapest is genuinely worth an extra day. Fly in a day early or stay a day late. It’s one of the more livable European capitals for a solo work-and-explore trip, and some of the best conference conversations happen away from the venue.

Alternatives to Affiliate World Europe

If Budapest doesn’t work for your calendar, here are other conferences I’ve covered and can recommend:

Conclusion
Affiliate World Europe 2026 lands at an inflection point for this industry. AI answer engines are redrawing the organic traffic landscape. Paid media creative cycles have compressed. The old affiliate playbook build content site, rank in Google, monetize with offers is running out of runway for anyone who hasn’t seriously adapted.
Two days in Budapest with the right 7,000 people won’t solve that on its own. But it’s the fastest way I know to figure out what other operators are actually doing differently, and to test whether your read on the industry matches theirs.
I’ll be there Wednesday through Friday. Come to the workshop on 9 July, or reach out on LinkedIn and let’s grab a coffee at MTK Sportpark.
