Earlier this month, WPBF TV news (West Palm Beach, FL) reported now a third random attack on a woman, and all of the attacks happened in public.

The first incident happened in December inside a Barnes & Noble book shop in Palm Beach Gardens. A man stabbed a woman inside the store, killing her.

In February 2026, on a Martin County beach, a woman was attacked by a complete stranger, while she was talking on her phone. The man grabbed the woman, dragged her into the ocean and held her head under water. A suspect was arrested on an attempted murder charge.

Then in early April 2026, an elderly woman was stabbed to death while walking her dog in Stuart, Florida.
