Trump Reposts The Homicidal Fantasy Of A Bush Neocon – The Washington Commonplace

Marc Thiessen demands Iranian leaders be slain if they refuse to capitulate.

On Thursday, the mentally compromised president of the United States reposted Marc Thiessen’s suggestion for ending the war with Iran. “If there are two factions in Iran, one that wants a deal and one that doesn’t, let’s kill the ones who don’t want a deal,” Thiessen wrote.

This “solution” to the war against Iran started by Trump and Bibi Netanyahu is to murder more people, Thiessen told Fox News. The neocon wants to murder only certain Iranian leaders, while Trump earlier posted his desire to mass murder everyone in Iran, not only taking the country back to the Stone Age, but completely eradicating its nine thousand year old civilization.

Thiessen elaborated his bloodlust desire on the pages of the CIA’s favorite newspaper, The Washington Post. I was unable to read the article. It is locked up behind a pay wall. These days, if you’re interested in reading lies and misinformation about Bibi’s war, you have to surrender your credit card numbers. Antiwar summarized the article for us:

In the piece, Thiessen argued that Trump should restart the bombing campaign against Iran. “Right now, the remnants of the Iranian regime are under the misimpression that Trump wants a deal more than they do,” he wrote… Trump needs to disabuse them of that notion. He has reportedly told Iran that it has three to five days to make a serious counteroffer. If it fails to do so, he should resume combat operations—starting with strikes targeting Iran’s recalcitrant leaders. If the Iranian regime is really ‘fractured’ between a faction that wants a deal and a faction that does not, there is a simple solution: Kill the faction that does not,” Thiessen said.

Thiessen probably realizes bombing campaigns do not win wars. However, the objective is not to win. It is to decimate Iran, turn it into a failed state no different than Libya. Iran is not a sparsely populated country in the Maghreb, though. It is a large country, three times the size of Texas, with a population approaching 100 million. Israel and the US have demonstrated the relative ease of martyring Shia clerics and IRGC leaders, but this is an act of futility, as Iran immediately replaces the fallen with new religious leaders and military officers. It might take a few decades to kill every “recalcitrant leader” put into place. It will certainly not happen before the midterms.

Thiessen was a top dog speechwriter for President George Bush the Lesser and his secretary of forever war, Donald Rumsfeld. He spent six years as a spokesman and senior advisor to North Carolina Senator Jesse Helms. He also worked for Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly, a political consulting and lobbying firm. Charlie Black was a chief adviser for John McCain and “worked for some of the world’s worst dictators—mass murderers, terrorists, and tyrants.”

Mr. Thiessen is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a neocon infested think tank that zealously advocates war all over the place, especially in “defense” of Israel. Bush said, when he illegally invaded Iraq, that his administration was “consistently borrowing” AEI neocons, including Michael Ledeen and Richard Perle. “Every ten years or so, the United States needs to pick up some small crappy little country and throw it against the wall, just to show the world we mean business,” Ledeen said during a speech at the AEI. Violent fantasies are rife at the organization.

Marc Thiessen is a proponent of torture. He believes waterboarding is a useful tactic permitted by Catholic Church teachings (never mind that the Catholic Church condemns torture). According to Thiessen, prohibitions on torture described in the Geneva Convention and the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment are not only irrelevant, but counterproductive. Both Israel and the United States share a rejection of international law, unless it applies to their adversaries. Prior to advocating for the murder of Iran’s leadership, the AEI neocon called for “arranging an assassination if the Iranian negotiating delegation rejects the deal offered by the US.” Israel has done this several times.

Both Thiessen and arch-Zionist Mark Levin demand US soldiers be sacrificed for Israel. “We have to get what Donald Trump correctly calls ‘the nuclear dust,’” Thiessen said during an appearance on Levin’s “Life, Liberty, & Levin” segment on Fox News. Levin asked why “we” (meaning neocons, Zionists, and MAGA cultists) need troops on the ground?… We’ve got to get the uranium… [Iran] can make dirty bombs… You need to get to the uranium.”

Here’s what Levin the “constitutional” Zionist failed to mention—Israel’s Green Field project tests with radiological bombs at the Negev Nuclear Research Center more than a decade ago concluded “that the danger posed was not substantial, and that the main impact of such an attack would be psychological.”

Thiessen, Levin, and the entirety of the Trump administration are deeply involved in pushing a mendacious psychological narrative—the US and Israel won the undeclared war against Iran, Iran is begging for a peace deal, and every bridge and power plant in the country is either destroyed, or soon will be.

“We have taken out Iranian navy, air force and top leaders. Their weapons are also gone,” Trump claimed, minus any evidence whatsoever. If this is true, why is Thiessen demanding a murder campaign against Iranian leaders? MAGA cultists, beguiled by Big Lies (one of Hitler’s favorite stratagems), believe Iran is defeated and will acquiescence to the demands of Trump and his Zionist son-in-law and a real estate developer buddy. Nothing could be further from the truth. Iran is seriously battered, but it will not surrender.

It looks like Trump may declare victory, send his battleships and aircraft carriers (with crews reportedly on the verge of mutiny) back to port, and look for easier prey. He has already set-up Cuba to fall in a similar way Venezuela fell, or conceded to Trump’s outrageous demands.
