More Updates to Enhance Your DMs
Along with live location sharing, Instagram has introduced several new features to make conversations more engaging and fun.
New Stickers for DMs: Instagram now offers 17 new sticker packs with over 300 stickers, perfect for expressing yourself when words aren’t enough. You can use these stickers in your DMs and even save your favorite ones for quick access later.
Nicknames: You can now personalize your chats by adding nicknames for yourself and your friends. To add a nickname, just tap on the chat name at the top of your conversation, then select Nicknames and the person for whom you want to add a nickname. These nicknames only appear in DMs and won’t affect their username on Instagram.
Sharing your live location on Instagram makes it easier to stay connected with friends and family, whether you plan to meet up or keep them updated on your whereabouts. With added features like stickers and nicknames, Instagram has made chats more fun and personal. These updates help make conversations more engaging and ensure you can share your moments creatively.
