Sasha and Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Emma Slater were once married before deciding to go their separate ways.
The couple’s relationship wasn’t smooth sailing after they turned their friendship into a full-blown romance in 2011. Sasha and Emma dated for three years before breaking up in 2014, but they made their way back into each other’s arms the following year.

Once their relationship was on a steady track to marriage, Sasha proposed to Emma in front of their DWTS costars and fans during a 2016 episode of the competition series.
“Babe, I wanted to do this for such a long, long time. I love you so much. Will you marry me?” Sasha asked while on one knee.

The U.K. native and Sasha tied the knot in March 2018 at Bella Blanca in Los Angeles.
“It was something out of a fairy tale and she was beautiful,” Sasha told Journalposts after their nuptials. “I kept telling her every hour, every ten minutes, every five minutes, ‘You look beautiful.’”
Sasha Farber and Emma Slater Amicably Divorce
Sasha and Emma ended their marriage in April 2022, four years after saying “I Do.” The couple faced challenges after walking down the aisle, like having to live separately due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The two didn’t announce their separation until February 2023, when Emma filed for divorce from Sasha. It was finalized the following May. Four months later, she revealed that they split because they weren’t on the same page about having kids.
“It’s really the kid thing. It’s interesting because I do want to have kids, I just don’t want to delay Sasha’s path in having kids because I know that he is ready for that,” Emma admitted during an appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast. “I don’t want to talk about him too much because that’s really for him to say, but it’s about kids.”
Sasha has remained tight-lipped about his and Emma’s divorce. However, he reacted to fan speculation after they wondered why he and Emma really split, amid his rumored relationship with Jenn.
In the comments section of one of Sasha’s November 2024 Instagram posts a fan wrote, “I read where Emma said the main reason for their breakup was Sasha’s desire to have kids but she wasn’t ready or sure. I would think this could be an even bigger issue with Jenn.”
Sasha replied, “That’s not the reason. Just saying.”
Is Sasha Farber Dating ‘DWTS’ Season 33 Partner Jenn Tran?
Sasha and Jenn were partners for DWTS season 33, shortly after she starred on The Bachelorette. The two didn’t spark dating rumors until after they were eliminated during the October 29, 2024, episode and continued to fuel the speculation.
Most recently, Jenn revealed that she is temporarily living with Sasha.
“Sometimes I crash on his couch,” the Bachelor alum told Life & Style and other media outlets at the Dancing With the Stars season 33 finale on November 26, 2024. “We had a lot of rehearsals, so we would go rehearse, and then I’m also out of an apartment very soon and he has, like, five bedrooms in the place. And he has dogs that need to be walked and fed and dishes to be cleaned and meals to be made.”
