Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Judge Chris Taylor is a radical abortion activist who promoted killing more babies in abortions.

Taylor previously worked as public policy director at Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin,  which kills babies every single day.

Taylor, a liberal appeals court judge from Madison, is running in the April 7 election against conservative appeals court Judge Maria Lazar of Brookfield. The contest will not alter the court’s existing liberal majority, but is important for the state to start taking back the court from abortion extremists.

She highlighted her time at Planned Parenthood promoting legislation to kill more babies as part of her value set.

“Those values are really deeply ingrained in me, not just because I worked for Planned Parenthood, but as a lawyer, as a former legislator, as a mother,” she said.

Taylor claimed her personal positions would not prevent her from impartially hearing cases related to those issues, including potential litigation involving Planned Parenthood. But that’s incredibly difficult to believe with a straight face.

She entered politics in 2011, motivated partly by opposition to pro-life Gov. Scott Walker.

Taylor has received endorsements from the four sitting liberal justices and Planned Parenthood-affiliated groups.

Conservative candidate Judge Maria Lazar, currently serving on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals District II in Waukesha, positions herself as an independent and impartial jurist committed to following the law and Constitution.

She launched her campaign to “restore fairness, independence, and integrity to the bench.”

Lazar has a lengthy judicial background, having served as a Waukesha County Circuit Court judge from 2015 to 2022, where she presided over juvenile, criminal, civil, and mental health dockets and led the county’s Drug Treatment Court. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant attorney general at the Wisconsin Department of Justice from 2010 to 2015 under Republican attorneys general, handling cases involving Act 10, redistricting, voter ID, and other issues.

She spent more than 20 years in private practice focused on business litigation and bankruptcy before entering public service.

Lazar, a Brookfield native, earned her bachelor’s degree from Mount Mary University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She describes her approach as rooted in lifelong values of family, fairness, and integrity, and she has pledged to adhere to principles of impartiality on the bench.

Her campaign emphasizes her experience as a trial and appellate judge who “lives and breathes the law,” contrasting with what she portrays as more activist-oriented opponents.
