“They were set up by a mutual friend, and are totally in love,” a source told People at the time. “They are head over heels and have become inseparable.”

The outlet reported the new couple had been dating for “several months” at this point and were “very happy together.”

While the event marked their first major red carpet together, the pair were spotted earlier that month attending fellow country artist Jamey Johnson’s wedding.
