‘WE WON’: Trump Receives Historic Ovation At MAGA Victory Rally

President-elect Donald Trump received one of the loudest and most intense standing ovations in the history of his political career when he took the stage for the official Trump Victory Rally in downtown Washington D.C. on the eve of his inauguration.

Hours before the president-elect arrived at the Capitol One Center, throngs of supporters lined up outside the building. Unbothered by snow in the forecast and temperatures expected to plunge below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, supporters flocked to the nation’s capital from around the country and immediately got in line.

One man — who was wearing a trash bag as a nod to President Biden’s infamous comment about Trump supporters — told the Right Side Broadcasting that he lined up outside the building at 2 a.m. Eastern Time.

Trump, along with his family, touched down at Dulles International Airport on Saturday night and immediately headed to a reception at Trump Sterling Golf Club in Lowes, Island Virginia. On Sunday afternoon, he paid respects to America’s fallen soldiers by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

He then headed to the arena, and the reaction was incredible.

Despite two assassination attempts within the last six months, the incoming president made a point to walk his way through the crowd of his most fervent supporters before taking the stage. Emerging from the suite level, Trump walked his way down the aisle, then through the floor seats, while taking time to greet as many supporters as possible.

Country star Lee Greenwood was on-hand to provide a live rendition of “God Bless The USA,” Trump’s signature entrance song. After shaking hands with Greenwood, who introduced him as “the 47th President of the United States,” the entire arena erupted into roaring chants of “USA!”

“We won,” Trump exclaimed after taking the podium. “In the election of 2024, which will be the most consequential election in American history, we not only won a mandate, but we built a new American majority that will lead our country to unparalleled success for generations to come,” the incoming president continued. “That’s what we want to do.”

On Monday afternoon, Trump will become the first president in more than 40 years to be inaugurated inside the Capitol Rotunda. The sprawling inauguration ceremony on the national mall was scrapped earlier this week due to arctic winds that are expected to create dangerous road conditions and bring frigid temperatures.

Vice President-elect Vance will be sworn in first, followed by Trump, who will then provide his inaugural address from the Capitol Building.
