WATCH: Trump Shuts Down Kaitlan Collins’ Question Within Milliseconds: ‘No, Not You’
President Donald Trump wasted no time shutting down CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during a press conference on Monday, interrupting her attempt to ask a question on tariffs.
The interaction came as Trump opened the floor to reporters, prompting a chaotic flurry of questions. “Questions?” Trump said, scanning the room.
Collins, who has long had a contentious relationship with the former president, began to ask, “On tariffs, is there an update—” when Trump swiftly cut her off, refusing to let her finish.
“No, not you,” Trump fired back almost instantly, moving on without hesitation.
WATCH:
Trump has frequently singled out Collins and CNN as antagonists, often branding the network “fake news” and accusing its reporters of grandstanding rather than seeking information. Monday’s shutdown was seen as vintage Trump by those familiar with his combative press style.
Earlier on Monday, Trump escalated his criticism of CNN, accusing the network of intentionally downplaying positive developments. Gesturing toward reporters, he remarked, “CNN over there doesn’t want to put [the numbers] out because they don’t like putting out good numbers … because I think they hate our country. It’s a shame, really.”

She is god awful. She is a paid propagandist and in my opinion a treasonous accelerationist.
