WATCH: TPUSA Shares Jaw-Dropping Halftime Present Viewership Numbers
Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet shared that the organization’s first ever “All-American Halftime Show” racked up at least 25 million views across all platforms.
The show — which featured performances from Kid Rock, Brantley Gilber, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett — started just minutes before Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show and ran throughout the duration. Within minutes of the show starting, the live viewer count on TPUSA’s main channel surged past 5 million.
While speaking with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, Kolvet shared that the live viewers on the main channel represented just a fraction of total viewership, which is still being tallied. “Yeah, it was a kind of blew our minds actually a little bit, Brian. And we, you know, we saw at one point across all the different social channels, we saw over 10 million concurrent views,” Kolvet said.
“So that was adding up all of rumble and all of our partners just on the social side. So, and now we, the numbers keep trickling in. I mean, right now, as I’m sitting here, YouTube’s numbers keep updating, keep updating. And so we’re trying to put it all together. What I can safely say is that we are now over 20 million viewers across just socials.”
Kolvet added that the organization is still tallying numbers from partner services, such as Daily Wire+ and others, that will not be available until tomorrow in some cases. The show also aired on a number of cable news channels, meaning that final viewership numbers will not be in for several hours or days.
“As you know, sometimes the ratings take a little while, but that’s 20 million viewers. And we don’t know how many people were gathered together, three, four, 10 in a room watching together. So we’re going to try and put a final number on that when we can,” the TPUSA spokesman continued.
Kolvet went on to reveal that the show will be scheduled once again for next year.
“So we are going to commit to doing this again next year. We’re going to do another halftime show for the country next year. So I’m breaking a little news here, Brian,” he said, adding that total viewership could trend upwards of 50 million when final tallies are achieved.
“I can tell you that’s a shot across the bow. People are paying attention. And, you know, if you give us a year to plan this thing, I’m really excited to see what we can pull off. But we got to do it for the country.”
