WATCH: PA Voters Get Turned Away From Early Voting Location Hours Before Closing

0

Shocking video from Quakertown, Pennsylvania shows voters being turned away hours before the early voting location was set to close on Tuesday, the last day to request mail-in ballots in the Keystone State. The move directly contradicts a statement from Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, who stated that anyone in line before polls closed would be allowed to vote.

Footage uploaded by a Bucks County resident — which is arguably the most pivotal swing county in Pennsylvania — shows several individuals wearing “voter protection” badges. According to Trump-Vance Campaign Political Director James Blair, the individuals with badges are Democrat operatives “trying to pretend like they are election officials.”

“These people are not officials,” Blair wrote in an X post. “Intimidation tactics!”

On Tuesday — the last day to request a mail-in ballot application in Pennsylvania and only way to vote early in the state — a Quakertown resident asked one of the individuals with a “Voter Protection” badge if she will still be able to vote if she came back at 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time. She was then instructed to speak with a police officer, who told her that voting at the location had been halted hours ahead of closing time.

“We have the right to vote until 4:30,” the woman said. “Why is it closed?”

“This process is very slow and grueling,” the officer said, at which point the woman correctly noted that she should be able to vote so long as she got in line before 4:30. “The reason why it had to close was because a high volume of people wanted to do this. It’s slow and grueling,” the officer followed up before informing the woman that the location was closed at 1:45 p.m., Eastern Time.

“You hear that everyone? They cut the line at 1:45. This is voter fraud by the way,” the woman said, drawing objections from the Democratic operatives with “Voter Protection” badges.

“Contact the county commissioners to complain,” one of the Democrats then said with a smug grin before walking away.

An identical incident was reported in nearby Doylestown.

The incident directly contradicts a statement issued by Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro just hours earlier.

“TODAY is the last day to apply for your mail in ballot in Pennsylvania. If you are in line at a county elections office by 5 P.M., counties must give you an opportunity to apply for your mail ballot,” Shapiro wrote in an X post. Our @PAStateDept is working with all counties to ensure every eligible voter who wants to vote by mail ballot can do so.”
