The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) earlier this week said it had terminated $20 billion in grants to eight nonprofit organizations. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said the programs the funds were awarded under were “in violation of the EPA’s statutory objectives and were misaligned with the administration’s focus.”
