WATCH: Joe Biden Bites Baby During White House Halloween Event
President Biden appeared to bite a baby during a White House Halloween event on Wednesday evening.
Keeping with the longstanding White House tradition, President Biden handed out candy to trick-or-treaters on the White House’s south lawn. First Lady Jill Biden, who was dressed as a Giant Panda, then read a Halloween-themed short story.
One particular moment from the Biden family’s final White House Halloween event took the internet by storm, as President Biden appeared to bite a baby who was dressed as a piece of candy. The president could be seen sinking his teeth into the infant’s leg before leaning in once again toward’s their face.
As the president was leaning in for the bite, he was perfectly synced up with a remix of the “Jaws” theme, which was playing in the background.
President Biden has long received criticism for his creepy behavior around children throughout his career in politics. The president has frequently been seen sniffing, kissing, and at times biting small children, particularly young girls.
Biden has also struggled with holiday-themed events in the past, including Halloween events. Last year, the president appeared disorientated and had to be helped into place by his wife when a group of trick-or-treaters asked to pose for a photo.
As President Biden handed out candy, he at one point appeared to violate White House COVID guidelines that were in place at the time by coughing into his hand. The president then proceeded to hand out candy while the First Lady handed out books.
In what was perhaps Biden’s most notable holiday event dust-up, the president appeared confused during the annual White House Easter Egg Hunt. The president wandered off his designated path and proceeded to talk foreign policy with small children, at which point the Easter Bunny intervened and helped him get back on course.
