A local Democrat official is facing intense criticism after he incited a mob against two young women for allegedly snapping selfies with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in a Phoenix, Arizona parking lot.

The incident occurred when an organized group of anti-ICE protesters surrounded the two young women, at which point the mob proceeded to hurl insults and curse words as they made their way back to a vehicle. Video footage from the scene shows protesters surrounding the car, using loud verbal insults, and photographing the vehicle’s license plates.

Accounts from the scene indicate that agitators arrived in numbers shortly after a targeted immigration enforcement operation was carried out, suggesting they had advance awareness of the location and timing. Far-left extremist groups have been caught operating databases complete with license plates, description of ICE vehicles and details on locations of enforcement operations in Democrat-controlled cities.

One individual, identified as Mark Holodnak, aggressively charged towards the women while calling them “cu***,” adding that they would be hunted and face consequences for supporting ICE.

Holodnak currently serves as a Precinct Committeeman and Treasurer for Arizona’s Legislative District 12 Democratic Executive Committee. The LD12 Democrats focus on supporting candidates and initiatives aligned with Democratic values in the Phoenix area, including voter outreach and event coordination, according to the organization’s website.

Outside the political realm, Holodnak works as a real estate agent affiliated with HomeSmart International in the Phoenix area.

In 2022, Holodnak hosted a fundraiser for then-candidate Kris Mayes, a Democrat and the state’s current attorney general. Mayes ultimately defeated her Republican challenger by a little under 1,000 votes.

The incident occurred just a day after White House Border Czar Tom Homan vowed that “accountability” was coming for organized anti-ICE networks, which have engaged in stalking, intimidation and violence in dozens of U.S. cities.

“We are aware of this coordinated effort. We are aware that this is being financed. We are aware that there are actual groups, well-coordinated, to attack the men and women of ICE to try to prevent them to doing their jobs,” Homan told Fox News. “Accountability is coming, because we’re working very closely with DOJ, the FBI, HSI. We’re doing a deep dive into this. We’ll follow the money. We’ll follow these groups. We’ll investigate these groups. Justice is coming to these people.”
