UPDATE: Near Irkutsk air base, men climbed on top of truck launching drones to stop launches, likely prevented further destruction.

The drones according to Ukrainian military reports were trained to hit certain aircraft targets via AI.


UPDATE: Russian nuclear submarine base hit.

Explosions and smoke reported in Severomorsk, Russia — home port for nuclear-armed submarines.

It is the main base of the Russian Northern Fleet, on the Kola Bay near the Barents Sea.

Hosts two-thirds of Russia’s nuclear-powered subs, including Yasen, Oscar II, Sierra II, and special-purpose subs, reports Clash Report.

Drones leave trucks and truck self-destructs. Russians try to shoot down drones.


UPDATE: Reports say Ukrainian drones were launched from trucks sitting outside Russian air bases for hours.

At least Four Russian air bases were targeted – Belaya, Dyagilevo, Olenya, and Ivanovo.

This is reported to be a major blow to Russian strategic capability as many of the aircraft were long-range nuclear delivery vehicles.

Over $2 billion in damage reported by very low cost drones.


Over 40 Russian warplanes reportedly hit in massive Ukrainian drone strike.

Ukraine’s SBU has launched a major drone operation, reportedly damaging more than 40 Russian aircraft — including A-50, Tu-95, and Tu-22M3 bombers.

The operation, dubbed “Web,” may have caused over $2 billion in damage.
