U.S. inventory futures rise as Senate advances deal to finish authorities shutdown

U.S. stock futures gained Sunday, despite coming off the worst week for tech stocks since April, as investors welcomed a tentative Senate deal that may soon end the government shutdown.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YM00 jumped 100 points, or 0.2% late Sunday. S&P 500 futures ES00 gained 0.7% and Nasdaq-100 futures NQ00 rallied 1.2%. Bitcoin BTCUSD topped the $105,000 level after a nearly 3% rise in the past 24 hours. West Texas crude futures CL.1 gained 0.8% and gold futures GC00 advanced 1%. The ICE U.S. Dollar Index DXY was flat.
