Tucker Carlson Slams Jennifer Griffin as ‘Deep State Shill’ in Explosive Interview – WATCH
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson took aim at his former colleague Jennifer Griffin during a recent episode of his show, accusing her of serving as a conduit for intelligence community narratives that undermine President Donald Trump’s foreign policy achievements.
As Trump celebrated the recent ceasefire between Israel and Iran — what Carlson described as “the biggest foreign affairs success of his second administration” — the former Fox host unleashed his most pointed criticism yet of Griffin’s reporting methods and political leanings.
“Jennifer Griffin is, even by the standards of Pentagon employees, she’s not technically an employee of the Pentagon,” Carlson stated during the broadcast.
“She’s a shill, obviously, for the deepest of the deep states. But she’s like a parody. She’s like parody. It’s like the whole thing.”
Former Fox host Clayton Morris agreed with Carlson, adding that Griffin operates as an unofficial spokesperson for Pentagon interests rather than as an independent journalist.
Carlson also characterized Griffin’s opposition to the Trump administration and its supporters as ideological.
“The crazy thing is Jen Griffin is a liar, but also very liberal, true Trump hater, to the point where I complained about her and I really tried not to complain about other people at Fox when I worked there,” Carlson revealed.
Carlson further claimed Griffin’s anti-Trump sentiment was so pronounced that it damaged Fox News’ credibility with its core audience.
“She was discrediting the channel, she was such a Trump hater, and it was emotional,” Carlson explained.
However, Fox News leadership pushed back on his concerns about Griffin’s coverage.
One executive allegedly responded to Carlson’s complaints by saying, “You could not touch Jennifer Griffin,” highlighting the reporter’s apparent immunity from internal criticism.
Carlson went on to question what value Griffin brought to the network.
“She’s an idiot. She doesn’t tell the truth. She misleads our viewers. And she’s like a screaming liberal who hates Trump, who our viewers love. So what are we getting out of this?” Carlson continued.
Morris raised further concerns, noting that Griffin maintains an office within the Pentagon building itself.
Morris suggested that her physical proximity to military leadership creates potential conflicts of interest that could compromise her objectivity in national security reporting.
Carlson recently expressed relief on social media following Trump’s announcement of the Israel-Iran ceasefire, while simultaneously targeting another Fox News personality.
“Thank God Trump brokered a ceasefire. That’s the last thing Mark Levin wanted,” Carlson wrote on X, directing criticism at the radio host and Fox News contributor.
