Trump's State Department Removes 'T' From LGBT on Official Govt Website: 'Transgenderism No Longer Recognized'

0

The Trump White House has reiterated that it does not endorse transgenderism or gender ideology by ordering the State Department to remove the letter ‘T’ from LGBT on its official website.

“LGB” stands for lesbian, gay, and bisexual, while the “T” represents transgender individuals.

LGB travelers noticed the change while reading about potential risks associated with traveling abroad.

The website now states:

“LGB travelers can face special challenges abroad. Laws and attitudes in some countries may affect safety and ease of travel.

Many countries do not recognize same-sex marriage. Many countries also only recognize male and female sex markers in passports and do not have IT systems at ports of entry that can accept other sex markers.

About 70 countries still consider consensual same-sex relations a crime. In some of these countries, individuals who engage in same-sex sexual relations may face severe punishment.”

The bold move, which is likely to cause outrage among the LGBTQ community, is part of a broader effort to push back against transgenderism and the rise of gender ideology.

Trump’s Executive Order on Gender Ideology

Trump recently signed an executive order titled: “Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.”

The order states:

“It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female. These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality.

Under my direction, the Executive Branch will enforce all sex-protective laws to promote this reality, and the following definitions shall govern all Executive interpretation and application of Federal law and administrative policy.

Accordingly, my Administration will defend women’s rights and protect freedom of conscience by using clear and accurate language and policies that recognize women as biologically female and men as biologically male.”

Removal of Pride and BLM Flags from U.S. Embassies

The State Department also announced they would implement the “One Flag” policy, effectively removing LGBT pride and Black Lives Matter flags from all U.S. embassies.

Flags exempt from the new policies include the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) emblem and the Wrongful Detainees Flag

Trump also ordered all federal employees to remove pronouns from their email signatures under the new government policy.

The order states:

“Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content.

The flag of the United States of America unites all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty, and democracy.

These values, which are the bedrock of our great country, are shared by all American citizens, past and present.

The U.S. flag is a powerful symbol of pride, and it is fitting and respectful that only the U.S. flag be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestically and abroad.”

Trump is making good on his promise to remove wokeness from the American government, including DEI policies implemented under the Biden State Department.

“On the President’s direction, the State Department will have an America-First foreign policy,” the White House said last week.

Any State Department employee who refuses to adhere to the new policies will “face disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract or reassignment to their home agency.”
