Trump Refuses to Endorse Emmer’s Speakership in NH
Last Updated on October 23, 2023
President Donald J. Trump refused to endorse Tom Emmer’s Speakership when asked in New Hampshire. NationalFile has reported about Emmer’s connections to Ron DeSantis, Liz Cheney and the FTX scandal. Photos from Emmer’s office show Emmer recently hung pics of him and Trump. Notable endorsements for Emmer’s Speakership include Kevin McCarthy.
Trump was asked, “Will you endorse Tom Emmer for Speaker? He hasn’t always been your biggest fan.”
Trump responded, “He’s my biggest fan now because he called me yesterday and told me he’s my biggest fan so I don’t know about that. We are looking at a lot of people. I’m trying to stay out of that as much as possible.”
Trump could have endorsed Tom Emmer in New Hampshire and didn’t. Emmer’s fake MAGA act just failed miserably. Emmer will probably take down the newly installed Trump photos in his office momentarily. pic.twitter.com/kCtrDzz6lw

Emmer has been a staunch Never Trumper during his time in Congress. Emmer voted to certify the 2020 election. Even worse, NationalFile reported that Emmer is for canceling the Electoral College and has close connections with Liz Cheney and Ron DeSantis.
Emmer also used FTX funds to defeat America First Candidates like Laura Loomer in the 2022 midterm elections.
The House GOP Speaker selection process kicks off with a candidate forum Monday evening, followed by a House GOP Conference vote early Tuesday. A floor vote for the Speaker will be announced after Tuesday’s House GOP Conference.
