Trudeau: Kamala's Loss Against Trump Was an 'Attack' on Women's Progress
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau absurdly claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris’s defeat against President-elect Donald Trump is an example of women’s rights being “under attack.”
Trudeau might need reminding he’s been attacking women’s rights for years by removing two female cabinet ministers in his government, supporting biological men to use women’s bathrooms, and supporting them competing in women’s sports.

Trudeau told the Equal Voice Foundation that women’s rights are under attack.
“It shouldn’t be that way. It wasn’t supposed to be that way. We were supposed to be on a steady, if difficult sometimes, march towards progress,” Trudeau said, claiming to be “now and always … a proud feminist” who understands the issues.

“And yet, just a few weeks ago, the United States voted for a second time to not elect its first woman president. Everywhere, women’s rights and women’s progress is under attack. Overtly, and subtly.”
Meanwhile, the Canadian PM is scrambling to mitigate President-elect Donald Trump’s threats to impose a 25 per cent tariff on all Canadian products because of his lax border control.

Earlier this week, Trump trolled Trudeau in a Truth Social post calling him the “Governor” of “the Great State of Canada” after offering the PM to make his country the 51st state of America.
Trudeau said that Americans “are beginning to wake up to the real reality that tariffs on everything from Canada would make life a lot more expensive.”
Trudeau added that he would retaliate if Donald Trump implemented the tariffs next year.
“It would also, however, mean real hardship for Americans as well,” Trudeau said.
“Americans import 65% of their crude oil from Canada, significant amounts of electricity. Just about all the natural gas exported from Canada goes to the United States.”
“They rely on us for steel and aluminum. They rely on us for a range of agriculture imports. All of those things would get more expensive.”
