Travis Kelce said it’s no accident that he’s in the Super Bowl for a third straight year, as he and girlfriend Taylor Swift believe in the same power that they can will goals into reality.

“I think we both love to manifest things,” Travis, 35, told reporters at a Monday, February 3, media event ahead of Super Bowl LIX.

“You can’t say it’s not real because we’re here, right?” the Kansas City Chiefs star added about the big game coming up on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. His team is there to square off against the Philadelphia Eagles in hopes of becoming the first squad in NFL history to win three back-to-back Super Bowls.

Travis even addressed what Swifties have come to call “Tayvoodoo,” where they believe Taylor, 35, has the power to will big plays into action when in attendance at Chiefs games.

“Whatever she was doing, I’m sure it helped,” the Ohio native joked.

Travis didn’t reveal if he’s manifesting an engagement to Taylor, as he played it coy when asked if he plans to propose to the “Lavender Haze” singer following the Super Bowl.

“Wouldn’t you like to know,” he responded when asked by a reporter about an upcoming engagement.

Some fans believe Travis manifested his romance with Taylor when he revealed on a July 2023 episode of his “New Heights” podcast that he tried and failed to give the Grammy winner a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at Taylor’s Kansas City Eras tour stop earlier that month.

The revelation caught the Pennsylvania native’s attention. Taylor said she thought Travis’ gesture was “metal as hell” and they soon got in touch and started dating.

Meanwhile, some Swifties believe Taylor manifested her relationship with Travis when she was just 19 years old. In January 2024, a 2009 interview the pop superstar did with Glamour following the success of her sophomore album, Fearless, resurfaced. In it, she described what she hoped to find in a partner one day.

Taylor said any romance she entered into would have to be “long-distance, even if I date the boy who lives next door to me in Nashville. I’ll be flying to see him and flying him places to see me.”

Travis famously travelled to see Taylor perform on her Eras world tour by jetting to South America, Australia, Singapore and Europe to attend her concerts.

“It feels like it would involve more scheduling, and I already deal with a lot of scheduling in my life,” she continued. “Of course, if I met somebody who was worth it, I would probably stop thinking that way!”

When asked if she wanted a partner with a “similar level” of success, Taylor gave a response that some fans believed was a manifestation of what she would later find in Travis.

“I think it’s more a question of confidence. I wouldn’t want to be with a pushover who would let me make all the plans and have all the control,” the “Lover” songstress explained. “It’s really natural for me to go into planning mode, but I’d rather be with someone who has his own voice and passion and ambition.”

Taylor found that 14 year later with the NFL superstar and future Hall of Famer.
