Tommy Lee Exposed Brittany Furlan’s Catfishing Scandal Amid Split Reports
The Mötley Crüe drummer shared an Instagram post simply asking, “Who’s been catfished?” on May 16, 2025. The day prior, TMZ reported that Tommy and Brittany had split and that it was allegedly due to his drinking and refusal to go back to rehab.
One week prior, Falling in Reverse lead singer Ronnie shared a TikTok and Instagram video on May 12, 2025, calling out “gullible people.” He shared his correct social media accounts along with ones that weren’t him, adding how he’s “never had a Snapchat.”
“Y’all can’t be so damn dumb please,” Ronnie wrote in the caption while discussing how many women had been catfished into believing they were talking to him online. However, he didn’t directly name Brittany at the time.
Brittany Furlan Confirmed She and Tommy Were Living Apart Amid a ‘Tough Time’
After Tommy’s post about catfishing, Brittany explained what happened in a May 17, 2025, TikTok video.
“Obviously, I’m in a hotel right now. I’ve been going through a really tough time in my marriage, which was none of anyone’s f–king business, but he’s made it everyone’s business,” Brittany said at the start of the seven-minute video while referring to Ronnie.

“Basically, I told my husband everything,” Brittany told viewers. “I said, you know, ‘I’ve been talking to whoever I thought this was on Snapchat — he says it’s not him, cool, whatever — ‘cause I’m a good person. I mean, I’m not a good person for talking to someone while married. I’ve been going through a lot in my marriage. No excuse, whatever.”
“There’s no excuse, but I came clean. I’m a good person,” the comedian continued, adding that she believed that the Snapchat user she thought was Ronnie “started trying to seduce me.”

Brittany said she didn’t save the messages from fake Ronnie and claimed she was “in a vulnerable place.” She then shared correspondences with the real Ronnie.
“It’s a catfish, cool. I got catfished. Why are you still harassing me?” Brittany asked the singer. “Why are you sending me hundreds of messages? Why are you trolling me? I don’t give a f–k. I unfollowed you. Leave me alone. That’s it.”
In the caption of her video, Brittany wrote, “I’ve had enough. He’s been harassing me for two weeks. He’s been sent three cease and desists and has not listened. For the final time – Leave me alone Ronnie.”

“The only reason why I made it public is because your husband won’t stop yelling at me,” Ronnie told viewers in a May 18, 2025, Instagram video. “Imagine you grow up looking up to someone like Tommy Lee and then all of a sudden out of nowhere he’s like, ‘You’re f–king my wife!’ And I’m like, ‘What?! I have no idea what you’re talking about!’ Both of you came into my life for no reason.”
