Tom Holland 'Serious' With Zendaya After Rob Pattinson's Child (EXCL)
Tom Holland can’t wait to make things official with Zendaya and is already mapping out his wedding plans to pals – and counting on close friend Robert Pattinson to be a big part of the big day once it finally goes ahead, a friend of the A-listers exclusively tells Life & Style.
“Rob has known Tom for several years now and it’s a very brotherly relationship,” the insider explains. “This is Spider-Man and Batman we’re talking about here, and instead of a rivalry, they’ve built up real mutual respect for one another.”
The superfriends have been in the industry for most of their lives, but recently collaborated on the Netflix production The Devil All the Time. With their friendship growing stronger since working on the picture together, the source notes that “If things keep going in this direction, Rob is going to figure into their wedding as a best man or groomsman and he absolutely wants the new, little families they are starting to be close going forward.”
“As Tom and Zendaya move closer to having a wedding next year, basically living like a husband and wife already, and continuing to book multiple film projects together, Rob is cheering them on,” the source adds.
Robert, 38, recently got engaged to his long-term girlfriend Suki Waterhouse after dating for about 6 years. The Batman star and the “Melrose Meltdown” singer first sparked rumors of a relationship back in July 2018 with some photos depicting the two looking cozy, before Life & Style confirmed the two were an item that year.
Suki, 32, announced that she and the Harry Potter alum were expecting their first child in November 2023, while performing at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico. They got engaged shortly afterward, in December 2023, and welcomed their kid in March 2024.
With adorable images of the couple pushing a little pink stroller lighting up the internet, the prospect of fatherhood has certainly turned Tom’s head as he plans a life with his girlfriend, Zendaya, 28.
“For Tom’s part, he’s seen up close how settling down, getting serious and having kids has changed Rob,” the insider adds. Moreover, with his buddy beginning a new life as a dad, “Tom wants that life for himself and Zendaya, sooner rather than later.”
Costars Tom, 28, and Zendaya proved the rumors that the two dating while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2016 correct – sort of. While it’s unknown if they were a couple when they first started on the franchise, it wasn’t until years later that they confirmed their relationship.
Going strong since they were spotted kissing in a car in July 2021, the insider says it’s only a matter of time until the couple follows suit behind Robert and Suki. They’ve kept their relationship low-key to date, and there’s no reason to expect they won’t continue to maintain a low-profile marriage when the time comes.
