Tom Holland and Zendaya 'Can't Wait to Be Married' (EXCLUSIVE)
Tom Holland and Zendaya can’t wait to say their vows and finally get hitched some time this year and they’re looking to start a family this year as well, all while planning a romantic future together on both sides of the Atlantic, a source exclusively tells Life & Style.
After years of rumors swirling around their relationship, the two Spider-Man costars finally had their romance confirmed after paparazzi snapped them kissing in a vehicle at a stoplight. Afterwards, they began a more public partnership supporting each other’s careers on the red carpet and with the press. With a looming wedding date, though yet unannounced, and plans to start a family sooner rather than later according to the source, the impetus right now is on finding exactly where they’ll live and settle down to do so.
Brit actor Tom, 28, is from Kingston upon Thames, just outside of London, whereas his American fiancée Zendaya, 28, is from Oakland, near Los Angeles. “They already live together in London, but they’re looking to buy a bigger place together next, and they also want to get a place together in L.A. so that they can have homes near his family and hers,” the source explains of their post-wedding living plans.
“This has all been in the works for quite some time and isn’t a shock for their family and friends, the word is they’ve already let people know they want to have the ceremony this summer, or the fall at the latest.”
The two had been dating for years before Tom popped the question to Zendaya at her family home in the U.S. some time between Christmas and New Year’s Day in 2024. The Euphoria actress sported some diamond bling on her finger while at the Golden Globes following the engagement, confirming the fact they’re on their way to the aisle.
“Tom, as you know by now was very incredibly well prepared. He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter,” Tom’s father Dominic explained on his Patreon blog. “Tom had everything planned out … When, where, how, what to say, what to wear.”
“And even though show-business is a messy place for relationships and particularly so for famous couples as they crash and burn in public and are too numerous to mention … I am completely confident they will make a successful union,” the proud papa added.
Though the engagement went smoothly and was a “very romantic” and “intimate” affair, the source notes their trans-Atlantic romance has some complications as they try to sort out the logistics of the upcoming wedding.
“There are a lot of moving parts with planning, because they have so much work coming up but at this point, they do have a break at that time and they’re going to go for it, they can’t wait to be married,” the insider adds. “They’re both so happy and in love and they are truly best friends, it’s just such a healthy and positive relationship in every way, this is a no brainer.”
