TDS Sufferer Stephen King Returns to X, Immediately Begins Attacking Trump and Musk

Liberal author and chronic Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer Stephen King returned to X after previously vowing to leave the so-called “toxic” social media platform for good.

On Thursday, King posted to his 7 million followers, “I’m baaaack! Did you miss me?”

Elon Musk immediately replied, “I did [to be honest]” with a smiling emoji.

The horror author then proceeded to attack Musk and President Donald Trump.

“Just wanted to say that Trump is a traitorous, Putin-loving dips—! Goes double for Elon!” King wrote.

Despite King’s return to X, his previous comment that the platform is “toxic” serves as a stark reminder that these liberals can’t even stick to their own promises. Instead of migrating to their left-wing echo chamber at Bluesky, they continue engaging with so-called “toxicity.”

“I’m leaving Twitter. Tried to stay, but the atmosphere has just become too toxic. Follow me on Threads, if you like,” King wrote in November while promoting his account on Meta’s rival platform.

Interestingly, King’s farewell post remains pinned to the top of his X account.

However, the timing of King’s return to X could be tied to the release of his horror film The Monkey, an adaptation of his 1980 short story about a cursed toy monkey.

King’s history of TDS outbursts is nothing new.

Over the years, he has used his platform to rail against conservatives, frequently resorting to inflammatory rhetoric.

King, a long-time critic of Trump, previously called for the president’s impeachment and even compared his detainment of migrant families to one of his horror novels. “Trump and his enablers” were “a real-life horror story worse than any I’ve written,” he said.

The author has also clashed with Musk over X’s blue checks and U.S. financial aid to Ukraine.

King refused to pay for Twitter Blue and was shocked when Musk ensured he retained his blue check.

“My Twitter account says I’ve subscribed to Twitter Blue. I haven’t,” King fumed at the time..
