Taylor Swift Chooses To Attend Chiefs Game Over Final Kamala Rally

Pop superstar Taylor Swift opted to attend the Kansas City Chiefs’ primetime NFL matchup as opposed to Vice President Harris’ celebrity-stacked final campaign rally in Philadelphia on Monday night.

Throughout the campaign cycle, the Harris-Walz Campaign have been hosting free concerts before campaign rallies in order to give the impression of massive turnout. She has previously hosted concerts from Megan Thee Stallion, Usher and several other high-profile artists before delivering her own speech, giving the impression that thousands of supporters turned out to see her rather than the free concert.

Several videos from Harris rallies have shown “supporters” streaming out of the arenas the moment the concert wraps up.

On Monday, Harris opted to end her campaign in the same fashion with a concert/rally on the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Pop star and actress Lady Gaga, hip hop star Fat Joe, hip hop producer DJ Jazzy Jeff, pop star Ricky Martin, hip hop group the Roots, soul singer Jazmine Sullivan and Oprah Winfrey are among the celebrities who will either be speaking or performing at the final Harris-Walz Campaign event of the election cycle.

A notable star was missing from the lineup, however, as Taylor Swift instead opted to attend her boyfriend’s primetime NFL match-up instead.

Democrats have long pointed to Swift’s endorsement of the Harris-Walz Campaign as an election-swaying factor, though polling data has suggested this is far from the case.

A recent poll from YouGov — a left-leaning polling outlet — found that just eight percent of voters said Swift’s endorsement is either “somewhat” or “much more likely” to convince them to vote for the Harris-Walz ticket. On the other hand, a whopping 20 percent of respondents said they are “somewhat” or “much less likely” to vote for former President Donald Trump’s rival now that Swift has spoken out.

A majority of respondents, 66 percent, indicated that Swift’s endorsement will have no impact on their 2024 election preferences.
