Sydney Sweeney Attends Glen Powell's Sister's Wedding Amid Split Drama
Part of the family! Sydney Sweeney attended her Anyone But You costar Glen Powell‘s sister’s wedding in Texas amid reports she called off her own nuptials to fiancé Jonathan Davino.
Leslie Powell included Sydney, 27, in a series of photos from her wedding that the bride shared in her Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 30. The Euphoria star looked stunning in a pale blue gown with a plunging neckline and corseted bodice, as she posed next to Leslie, who was wearing a white off-the-shoulder minidress at what appeared to be the reception.
Glen, 36, appeared to be a groomsman at Leslie’s wedding, appearing in a photo of the wedding party and close friends on a party bus while wearing a navy tux that fit in with the blue color theme. “THE. BEST. WEDDING. CREW!!!!! What a day!” Leslie wrote on the snapshot.
Deux Moi also shared Instagram photos of Sydney and Glen out and about in Dallas, Texas. One snapshot showed Glen smiling while at a table, as another showed the makeup-free actress heading into the restaurant.
“Sydney Sweeney in Dallas. Going to attend Glen Powell sister’s wedding today,” one anonymous tipster shared in a screengrab DeuxMoi included in their Sunday, March 30, Instagram post. Another screengrab read, “Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney are at a rehearsal dinner seemingly together at a Mexican restaurant in Dallas (joe leo) as we speak.”
TMZ reported on Monday, March 31, that Sydney has been “very good friends with the Powell family” and “very close” with Leslie “for a long time.”
It didn’t appear that Jonathan, 41, joined Sydney on her trip to the Lone Star state.
The Madame Web star raised eyebrows that her relationship with Jonathan was in trouble after she deleted a rare photo of the duo kissing from a carousel of 2025 New Year’s celebration photos, which DeuxMoi reported on March 24.
It came amid the Immaculate star taking a girls’ trip to Africa with a group of female pals. The ladies enjoyed a wildlife safari as well as a hot air balloon ride over the Tanzania wilderness, while it appeared Jonathan was not part of the vacation.
Journalposts reported on March 26 that Sydney and Jonthan had called off their wedding that was scheduled for later in the spring, and a source said that the duo “have been having major issues but are not fully split.”
“Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now,” the insider added.
Sydney and Jonathan began dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022.
Glen and Sydney raised eyebrows that they may have fallen for each other while filming the rom-com Anyone But You in Australia. The pair had flirtatious interactions while promoting the film, and their onscreen chemistry was off the charts. Glen and his former girlfriend Gigi Paris split in 2023 ahead of Anyone But You‘s release, adding to speculation that he had fallen for Sydney.
However, the White Lotus alum gushed about Jonathan with rare comments while hosting Saturday Night Live in March 2024. While Glen showed his support from the audience, Sydney addressed the speculation about having an affair with her costar, saying, “That’s obviously not true.”
She continued, “Me and my fiancé produced the movie together and he was there the entire shoot. And I just want to let everyone know that he’s the man of my dreams and we’re still together and stronger than ever.”
