Summer House's Lindsay Hubbard Reveals Turner Kufe Breakup
Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard revealed that she and Turner Kufe broke up just five months after she gave birth to their daughter, Gemma.
“We put our romantic relationship on pause for now,” Lindsay, 39, said about her and Turner during part 2 of the Summer House season 9 reunion on Thursday, June 5. “We are just focused on being the best parents we can possibly be to Gemma. We are coparents, we are an amazing team.”
Despite no longer being romantically involved, Lindsay insisted that she and Turner are “the best of friends.” She told her costars, “Even on the weekend, when we don’t have our nanny and it’s just the two of us tag-teaming being parents, we’re out to brunch, we’re going to visit friends.”
While she said that Turner sleeps at her apartment “half the week,” she insisted that they are not “friends with benefits” or dating anyone else.
“We’ll see what happens in the future,” the Bravo star continued. “But as of right this second, I think there’s a lot for us to figure out when it comes to parenting, coparenting, my lifestyle, me being public, him being private. It’s too much at once.”
Lindsay also added that Turner is a better father than she could have “ever could have expected.”
Their split may not shock fans, as Lindsay had been open about how his private lifestyle has conflicted with her job as a reality TV star.
“It’s a struggle,” she said. “Dad is private, mom is public, and what does that make baby? It’s hard. With being public, you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. Regardless of if I am not on Summer House or on Summer House, I’m still Lindsay from Summer House.”
Lindsay and Turner previously dated in 2020, though they reconnected in January 2024 following her split from Carl Radke in August 2023. She shocked fans when she announced her pregnancy in July 2024, and she gave birth to Gemma in December 2024.
Both Lindsay and Turner have managed to keep their romance out of the spotlight, though she previously admitted that navigating their different views of privacy had been difficult during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
“It’s challenging, for sure to, you know, to navigate that,” she said in May. “I think it’s hard because I am a public figure. I’ve been on TV for almost a decade.”
She noted that reality stars “tend to be even more public” than other types of public figures, and she likes to keep fans up to date about her life even when Summer House isn’t airing. “I think it also translates to Instagram, as well,” she said. “We live our lives on screen, you know, during the times and seasons that we film. But then, you know, for the other seasons, I am living my life on Instagram.”

“So it is challenging being with somebody private. I never thought that I would be in a relationship with somebody this private,” Lindsay added about her then-boyfriend.
