Although the left failed in its effort to derail President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign with a barrage of insults and allegations, one top White House adviser recently sounded the alarm about ongoing attacks on Trump and other key administration figures.

Stephen Miller, the White House’s deputy chief of staff for policy, appeared on Fox News over the weekend to discuss a range of topics, including the recent threats aimed at Elon Musk and others in Trump’s inner circle.

As he said, per a transcript of the video:

It’s all very sad and very tragic and underscores how the rhetoric and behavior from House Democrats, from Senate Democrats, from leading figures in the Democrat Party has created an incredibly unsafe environment for Republicans and for elected leaders in the Republican Party.

They have constantly spewed lie and the hate and the vitriol about President Trump being a threat to democracy, President Trump being a fascist dictator. All of those odious libels and slanders have resulted in a huge increase in death threat and violence and harassment and intimidation.

The Democrat Party has become radicalized. They are held hostage by a tiny, tiny minority of this country. President Trump came in as the crusader saving democracy.

Musk, who leads the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency, has been open about the threats he has received since joining forces with the White House.

As GBN reported of Musk’s remarks in a recent podcast interview:

He added: “We attack the corruption enough to keep civilisation trucking along but if I fully destroy the corruption and the graft, they will kill me.

“I strive to be alive. But it’s a real concern.”

Musk then explained how two men tried to assassinate him before he became involved in politics.

He said: “Before I supported Trump, there were two guys who travelled to Austin to kill me. One guy thought I put a chip in his head.

“They’re both guys with severe mental illness. It wasn’t like they had a ‘I disagree with him politically and that’s why he needs to die’ this was before I got smeared as some sort of Nazi. Before the propaganda wave.

“The probability that any given homicidal maniac is gonna try to kill you is proportionate to how many times they hear your name, and they heard my name a lot.

Miller also touched on a range of other subjects during his Fox News interview, including the latest episode of “Saturday Night Live,” which has long been among Trump’s harshest media critics.

According to Yahoo:

The Trump White House deputy chief of staff for policy slammed the NBC sketch show as the “church of woke” after its “Weekend Update” segment anchor Michael Che mocked Trump’s claim that “no president has changed government faster” by cracking: “Yeah, and nobody changed airport security faster than bin Laden.”

Asked for his take on Fox News, Miller fumed:

‘Saturday Night Live’ has not been culturally relevant in 20 years. ‘Saturday Night Live’ has not produced a meaningful talent since the 1990s. ‘Saturday Night Live’ has been the place where comedy goes to die. The only good thing that has happened on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in the last couple of decades were the times that President Trump hosted ‘Saturday Night Live.’
