Sources in Ukraine are reporting to JP/CDM that whole Ukrainian military units in the field are refusing to follow orders due to the Ukrainian government refusing to collect thousands of bodies from Russian forces, in an agreed-to humanitarian swap of prisoners and human remains.

Soldiers believe the Ukrainians are refusing the 6,000 bodies collected by Russians so they will not have to list the soldiers as killed-in-action and therefore not have to pay the approximately $350k life insurance to the families of those soldiers killed.

We reported on the refusal to accept the bodies by the Ukrainian government yesterday.

REPORT: Ukraine Losing Thousands And Refusing To Collect Bodies

The refusal to accept the bodies gives the impression to the Ukrainians actively fighting in Donbass that the Ukrainian government doesn’t care about them—why should they risk life and limb? This may result in long-term damage to the Ukrainian war effort.
